Search Help

1. Search by TOPIC, Then SUBTOPIC
   1. Click on the "Which Topic" pull-down menu above to reveal a list of topics.
   2. Select a topic.
   3. Click on a subtopic to display a list of articles.
   4. Click on an article title to see its content.
2. Search by KEYWORD
   1. Single or partial keyword
      • Enter a word in the "Article Search" blank above to find items that have the word in their titles, subject headings or abstracts.
      • Enter just the first part of a word to catch variations. Example: Enter franch to find items with terms such as franchise, franchiser, franchising, etc.
      • Put an equal sign in front of any word you want to specify exactly. Example: Enter =franchise to find only items with the nine-letter word franchise, not variations.
   2. More than one keyword
      • Enter more than one word to find items that have all the entered words. Example: Enter customer relations to find items with variations on both words as in the phrase "relationships among customers." Items with one or the other word alone will not be found.
      • Use quotation marks to find exact phrases. Example: Enter "time management" to find items with that precise phrase, not "management of time" or other variations.
      • OR and NOT logic are not available at this time.
