Motter Shop
History
The Motter Shop is the main vehicle and equipment repair and storage facility for the foundation. In addition to storage and repair, there is also a wood working shop for our on-staff craftsmen to work. Surrounded by farmland, this location is also within sight of the Casterline house, one of the historic farmhouses on property.
The Motter Shop got it’s name from the previous family farm owner. Records from 1966 indicate that the property was owned by Fannie Motter. Casterline Road no longer goes straight through to Kelsey Lake Street, but there is a service road that now connects the Motter Maintenance Shop to Casterline and the rest of the property.
