Single-company retreats are available to any second-stage entrepreneur who has already attended at least one of our retreats and wants to bring his or her staff to Big Rock Valley for a deeper dive into the company’s pressing issues and groom staff members to assume more responsibility.

What people are saying
“Everyone gets excited about startups or very large companies, and then there’s us — second-stage companies. In second stage, you’re not struggling to stay alive, but rather to grow and gain visibility. It’s a completely different phase of your business, and it can get lonely. One of the great things about retreats at the Edward Lowe Foundation is being able to spend time with leaders of other second-stage companies. You hear their struggles — not only in business but also on the home front — and know that you’re not alone.”
— Chris Straw, founder and president of Team Quality Services in Auburn, Indiana
“Most learning events I’ve attended are not very interactive: You sit, someone talks, and you write a lot of notes. Yet retreats at the Edward Lowe Foundation are very different. Dino is an incredible facilitator and does a great job of engaging us. The process, the facility — even conversations around the fire pit — breathe life into program information, making it much more powerful. After the retreats I feel clear-headed, energized and ready to take on the world again.”
— Mike Otis, founder of Double O Supply & Craftsmen, Inc. in Byron Center, Michigan
