Retreats at the Edward Lowe Foundation are designed specifically for leaders of second-stage companies — those beyond the startup phase with the intent and capacity for continued growth. Held at Big Rock Valley, the foundation’s learning campus in southwest Michigan, our retreats give participants a unique opportunity to get away from daily distractions and really focus on building their businesses.
These programs address the many challenges that second-stagers face, including building a management team, communication issues, company culture and strategic growth. Although curriculum is designed as a continuum, each program stands on its own.
Granted, there are a lot of educational opportunities for business leaders. Here’s what makes us different:
- A laser-like focus on second-stage entrepreneurs.
- Relevant content for addressing the challenges of growth-oriented companies.
- Facilitation that elicits the group genius.
- A deep understanding of peer learning.
- Big Rock Valley’s inspirational setting — 2,000 acres of woodland, prairie and wetland.
